Expect some busing challenges this fall
Like districts across the country, we are facing a significant bus driver shortage. This means we have fewer drivers available to cover our bus routes. We also expect some delays in getting students to and from school, especially in the first few weeks of the school year.
We know how important it is to have safe and reliable transportation for our students, and we will continue to work with our vendor to recruit drivers and find efficiencies in scheduling routes.
You can help!
If you are able to transport your child to school or arrange a carpool, especially during the first few weeks of school, this would help increase our efficiency.
Know anyone who might be interested in driving a bus?
